Pictures of the Sombrero Ranch Horse Drive

Each year in the spring, about the first of May, the Sombrero Horse Ranch has their annual trail drive.  They drive about 600 horses from their winter range west of Maybell, Colorado to their summer range about 60 miles to the east.  This is a huge event that involves many cowboys and several "dudes" that are along for the ride.  The Sombrero Ranch supplies horses to many of the guest ranches in the area.
